Winner Letter

Dear dotCOMM Awards Entrant,

Entries are flooding in and judges are already evaluating what we expect will be another year of about 2,500 entries. Since entries are graded individually and not compared directly to other submissions, we are releasing results as judges complete their work. We are doing this as a consideration to our early entrants. All winners will be posted on our Winner’s List and map by August 1.

As soon as winners are posted to your My Account, you are eligible to order your free certificates and purchase statuettes. You can also submit more entries through your My Account until the entry system closes.

dotCOMM Awards is an international competition honouring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. The competition is unique as it reflects the role of creatives in the dynamic web that is transforming how we market and communicate products and services.

dotCOMM Awards’ categories are the elements of the web’s evolving tools. Interactivity, content, design, social media, video, apps, blogs, and influencers are all important components of digital public relations, marketing, and advertising campaigns. Together, they generate branding, customer engagement, and ultimately sales.

dotCOMM entries come from corporate communication departments, public relations firms, digital shops, advertising agencies, and freelancers. Entrants include designers, developers, content producers, digital artists, video professionals, account supervisors, creative directors, and corporate executives.

dotCOMM Awards is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization oversees awards and recognition programs and honours outstanding achievement and service to the profession.

As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations. dotCOMM entrants who enter work produced pro bono have all entry fees waived. Over the past few years, AMCP’s Advisory Board has given out over $250,000 in grants to support philanthropic endeavours.

Typically, about 13 per cent of entries won a Platinum, the top award, and around 13 per cent the Gold Award. Approximately 5 per cent are Honorable Mention winners.
